Mayor Andries Bouwman has honored four residents of Opsterland for their courageous actions in rescuing a man who fell into the water in the Compagnonsfeart canal in June.
The municipality of Opsterland, housing associations Elkien, WoonFriesland, Woonzorg Nederland, and tenants' organization Huurdersbelang Fryslân have established the performance agreements for 2026. Together, the organizations will invest more than €12.6 million in the coming year.
