For 23 residents of Opsterland, Wednesday, September 24, was a special day. They may now call themselves Dutch citizens or citizens of the Netherlands.
From October 13 to 19, the Week of Parenting is being organized throughout the Netherlands. During this week, parents and children or adolescents do fun things together. This year the theme is: Puzzling Together. Opsterland also participates, so come together and join in! Participation is free.
Friday, October 10 is Sustainability Day. Municipality Opsterland is perking up with a Sustainability Weekend in Gorredijk and Ureterp: from Thursday, October 9 to Saturday, October 11.
