Would you like to hold a money collection or collection of goods for a charity? Or do you want to sell goods door-to-door for a good cause? Then you need a permit.
How does it work?
The congregation does not want too many collections to take place at the same time. A national collection schedule shows when there are collections. The congregation looks to see if your collection fits into the national schedule.
For large national campaigns, the municipality tests your application against the advice of the Central Bureau on Fundraising (CBF). At the CBF you can see the national collection roster. Check the collection roster in advance and only then determine the date for collecting or fundraising.

What to do.
Apply for the permit with the municipality. It is wise to submit your application at least eight weeks in advance.
In your application, you must demonstrate that you will responsibly spend the money raised on the stated purpose.
