We are offering €2,177 to spend on insulation for your home. You are eligible to participate if your home is not yet properly insulated and its WOZ value (as of January 1, 2022) is less than €429,300. Households with a monthly income of up to 150% of the social minimum may be eligible for an additional €2,500 in subsidies. We also offer the services of energy consultants, including insulation advice and assistance with applying for subsidies.

Did you experience high energy costs in 2022 and/or 2023, and does your organization face (or have faced) an operating deficit in 2022 and/or 2023? If so, you can apply for high energy cost relief. 

Are you planning to implement sustainability measures for a village hall, sports club or swimming pool? Or perhaps you have realized sustainability measures as of January 1, 2022? Then you can apply for this grant.

Comfortable, sustainable and safe living. Sometimes you need to modify your home to do so. Think for example of a stairlift or solar panels. Through the municipality you can get money for this in the form of these two loans.

Giving first-time buyers a chance on the housing market is very important to the Municipality of Opsterland. That is why we offer the Starter Loan. In doing so, we cooperate with the Stimuleringsfonds Volkshuisvesting Nederlandse gemeenten (SVn).

Do you want to organize an activity or event in the field of culture? Then you can apply for the Opsterland Cultural Events Subsidy.

Are you organizing a New Year's Eve activity in the community. You may be eligible for a grant.

Village halls are important for the villages in Opsterland. They are a place where people meet, do activities together and clubs can go. To maintain the village houses well, there is a special subsidy.

Do you, as a Local Interest, foundation or association, want to organize an activity to increase the liveability and/or social cohesion of the village? Then fill out the application form 'Application Subsidy Foar Ús Doarp.' You may be eligible for this subsidy.

The college has decided to reimburse property taxes (ozb) imposed on sports facilities and village halls in the form of a subsidy during the period 2023-2026. This is an elaboration of the ambition of the coalition agreement.

Playground committees are responsible for their own management and finances. The municipality provides a fixed annual grant for each playground that the playground committees can claim.

Municipality of Opsterland has received European grant money (European Social Fund) to help people with a vulnerable labor market position into work.

Historic buildings deserve special Health attention. To support owners in this effort, there are numerous grant opportunities available. 

The days when the municipality determines what is good for its residents are far behind us. In recent years we have seen more and more initiatives emerging from society. An initiative in public space is an idea for adapting or improving the living environment.
