The Iepen Mienskipsfûns has provided several help documents for writing a good plan for a fund application. You can download these here:

Public space initiative

The days when the municipality determines what is good for its residents are far behind us. In recent years we have seen more and more initiatives emerging from society. An initiative in public space is an idea for a modification or improvement of the living environment. What is important is that you yourself can contribute. This may involve money, but also 'hands' or 'materials'. Consider, for example, the construction and maintenance of planters on lampposts or the sowing of 'wild verges'. If there is sufficient support for an initiative, we are happy to think along with you.
