Royal awards

Every year many Dutch people are honored with a royal decoration. This usually happens around King's Day with the Lintjesregen (Ribbon Rain) and sometimes on a special occasion.

Nominating someone for a royal award

Many people dedicate themselves to society, often inconspicuously and in the background. Opsterland has many such residents. Together they are the Krêft fan de Mienskip.
