The first ljipaai of the municipality of Opsterland was found early Monday morning by Henner de Vries (52) from Noardburgum. He made the discovery on a plot of land near Nij Beets.
Closure of drug house in Hemrik

On March 10, the municipality of Opsterland closed a warehouse in Hemrik in connection with a drug offense. Hard drugs were found in the building on February 20. The building will be closed for 12 months.
