Talk mei oer it Frysk yn Opsterlân

The Frisian language is an important part of the identity of so many residents of Opsterlân.

What do jo fine fan it hjoeddeiske taalbelied? How do jo belibje it brûken fan it Frysk yn de iepenbiere romte? And watfoar kânsen sjogge jo foar de takomst?

Jo ynbring helps ús it belied ferbetterjen. Sa kinne wy better oanslute by what jo wichtich fine.

The Frisian language is an important part of the identity of many Opsterland residents. The current language policy expires this year, which is why the municipality is making new policy for 2026. We are not doing this alone: your opinion counts!

Through a survey we want to collect experiences, wishes and ideas. What do you think of the current language policy? How do you experience the use of Frisian in public spaces? And what opportunities do you see for the future?

Your input helps us improve policies. That way we can better reflect what you care about.

You can fill out the survey through Nov. 28, both online and on paper at the municipal counter.

Get involved and make your voice heard!
