Subsidy Scheme forgemoetkoming Energiekosten Maatschappelijke Organisaties.

Did you experience high energy costs in 2022, 2023 and/or 2024, and did your organization face (or have faced) an operating deficit in 2022, 2023 and/or 2024? If so, you can apply for an allowance for high energy costs. Complete the application form "Application forgemoetkoming Energiekosten Maatschappelijke Organisaties". You may be eligible for the subsidy. Read the subsidy scheme carefully before you apply for a subsidy.

Requirements

To qualify for a grant, there are a number of Requirements:

  • the applicant is a private, non-profit legal entity with its registered office in the municipality of Opsterland and perform activities in the areas of museums, village halls, art and culture, libraries, tropical greenhouses, churches or sports;
  • the energy costs for which a subsidy is requested relate to a location in the Municipality of Opsterland that is not part of a dwelling and are borne by the applicant;
  • the grant will not exceed the eligible costs calculated using the calculation model provided;
  • the grant for a given eligible period (2022, 2023 and/or 2024) also amounts to a maximum of the operating deficit for that period;
  • no grant will be provided if the grant is less than €250;
  • If you request a subsidy for 2023, but your 2023 financial statements and/or energy rates are not yet known, you will receive a 75% advance payment for 2023;
  • If you apply for a 2024 subsidy, but your 2024 financial statements and/or energy rates are not yet known, you will receive a 75% advance payment for 2024;
  • the final grant for 2022 and/or 2023 will be determined in 2024;
  • the final grant for 2024 will be determined in 2025;
  • this grant scheme will take effect on August 1, 2023;
  • an application must have been received during the period from August 1, 2023 to March 31, 2025;
  • this grant scheme expires on December 31, 2025 or when the amount of the grant ceiling is reached.
