Grant for maintenance of village houses in Opsterland

Village halls are important for the villages in Opsterland. They are a place where people meet, do activities together and clubs can go. To maintain the village houses well, there is a special subsidy.

The grant is for boards of village houses in the municipality of Opsterland. It concerns village houses that are not used commercially.

What do you get a grant for?

You can get a subsidy for maintenance planned in a Multi-Year Maintenance Plan (MJOP). This is a maintenance plan made by an independent agency.

What will you not be reimbursed for?

  • Interior or exterior beautification or renewal.
  • New furniture or loose items.

Important to know

  • This grant applies only to the boards of village halls in Jonkerslân, Luxwoude and Nij Beets.
  • The budget is €53,000 per year.
  • Apply for the grant no later than Oct. 1.
  • The grant is for up to four years.
  • The money is disbursed within eight weeks of award.
