"Not Today" Action Week Against Cybercrime
Cybercrime can happen to anyone and takes many different forms. Examples include phishing emails, WhatsApp scams, and bank help desk scams. The consequences for victims are severe. From October 5 through 9, 2026, various activities will be organized in the Northern Netherlands to help residents and organizations better protect themselves against these risks.
The Municipality of Opsterland is joining the “Definitely Not Today” campaign week. We, too, believe it is important to do our part to ensure the digital security of our residents and organizations.

From October 5 through 9, the following activities will take place in the municipality of Opsterland:

- Interactive film "Real or Fake?" and discussion | 7:15 p.m.
Information on safe internet use.
Organizers: Zuidoost-Fryslân Library, the police, and the bank.
