Announcement: Meeting of the GR SW ‘Fryslân’

The GR SW "Fryslân" is a partnership of eight municipalities, including the municipality of Opsterland, which jointly operate the sheltered workshop.

The board of the Joint Arrangement meets several times a year. The meetings are open to the public, and interested parties are welcome to attend.

Interested parties are welcome to attend this meeting; they can register with the GR secretary by emailing geert.luinstra@leeuwarden.nl.

The tentative agenda includes, among other things:

  • Annual Report of GR Sw Fryslan 2025
  • 2027 Budget of the Provincial Council of Friesland

The documents containing the final agenda will be available for inspection starting June 24, 2026, at the Caparis NV headquarters, located at Ampèrelaan 2 in Drachten, or may be obtained from the secretary of the General Meeting.

The “Fryslân” Joint Social Employment Scheme is comprised of the municipalities of Achtkarspelen, Heerenveen, Leeuwarden, Ooststellingwerf, Opsterland, Smallingerland, Tytsjerksteradiel, and Weststellingwerf.

Together, they implement the Social Employment Act.
