Are you the owner of a national monument with a residential function in Opsterland? From March 1 to April 30, 2026, you can apply for the residential subsidy from the Cultural Heritage Agency of the Netherlands (RCE). This applies to maintenance costs incurred in 2025.

- Subsidy percentage: Maximum 38% of eligible costs.
- New requirements: To speed up the assessment process, photos of the situation before and after the work is now mandatory.
- Inspection report: For costs exceeding €70,000, an official inspection report (e.g., from Monumentenwacht) is required. These report costs are also eligible for subsidy.
