Project Support Specialist

You thrive in a role where you provide oversight, support processes, and contribute to the further professionalization of project-based work within our municipality. What will you do?
As a Project-Based Working Support Specialist, you will form the PMW Project Office together with the Project-Based Working Advisor. From this office, you will support the organization in further developing and embedding project-based working. Project-based working is a key focus area within Opsterland’s training plan. The executive board and managers intend to give this topic serious attention over the next three years. In your role, you will actively contribute to this and help further shape this way of working within our organization.
You provide clarity, structure, and a solid foundation, ensuring that projects can be carried out smoothly and professionally.
You will assist the project office in documenting and maintaining agreements, processes, and procedures. You will help draft documents and recommendations and ensure that information about project-based work is clear, accessible, and easy for colleagues to understand.
You will also organize and prepare meetings set up by the project office, such as quarterly sessions for project leaders and training or theme days. You will ensure that these meetings are well prepared, documented, and followed up on, so that the agreements reached are actually implemented.
You will assist in preparing for quarterly meetings with project leaders and help process reports and recommendations for management and executive leadership.
From the project office, you will provide practical, facilitative support to project leaders, for example, by helping them keep project information and administrative records organized or by addressing organizational questions. You will ensure that information is complete and up to date and flag any issues that require attention.
