Emergency support centers
There are currently no emergency support sites in the municipality of Opsterland. The municipality is preparing the establishment of these locations.
In 2026, Mayor Bouwman will visit all villages to engage in conversation about resilience, thinking ahead, helping each other and setting up an emergency support center in each village.
An emergency support center is a central location in your village where municipality, safety region, emergency services and residents work together. You can go there for up-to-date information and support when needed. Even if you no longer have access to food, drink or medicine, you can get information at the emergency support point.
