Invitation: meeting new residents
How nice that you have come to live in the Municipality of Opsterland! We invite you to our meeting for new residents on Saturday, October 5, 2024.
On this afternoon you will meet other new residents. We also like to tell you more about our beautiful municipality.
You will have a tour of the Lycklamahûs and the council chamber. In the council chamber you will be introduced to the city council. For example, during the day you will learn more about the life of a council member in Opsterland. There is also a cozy information market, where we show what Opsterland has to offer. All this while enjoying a snack and a drink. Finally, a nice welcome package with regional products will be waiting for you.
Children are also welcome to attend. There is a craft corner, where they can make their own chain of office. Of course, these may be taken home!
