Invitation: meeting for new residents
We are delighted that you have chosen to live in the municipality of Opsterland! We would like to invite you to our meeting for new residents on Saturday, October 4, 2025.
On this afternoon, you will meet other new residents. We will also be happy to tell you more about our beautiful municipality.
You will be given a tour of the Lycklamahûs and the council chamber. In the council chamber, you will meet the municipal council. During the day, you will learn more about the life of a council member in Opsterland. There will also be a lively information market, where we will show you what Opsterland has to offer. All this while enjoying snacks and drinks.
Finally, a nice welcome package with local products will be waiting for you.
Children are also very welcome. There is a craft corner where they can make their own chain of office. Of course, they can take it home with them!
