Clerk Laura Meijer is leaving the Opsterland municipality
Clerk Laura Meijer is leaving the municipality of Opsterland. She will be taking up a position as clerk at the municipality of Borger-Odoorn.
Over the past four years, Meijer has supported the Opsterland City Council. With her knowledge and experience, she ensured continuity and a solid foundation within the Municipal Clerk’s Office. She also oversaw, among other things, the city council elections and the mayor’s appointment.
Meijer looks back with great pleasure on her time as an independent advisor to the city council.
Laura Meijer: "I look back on my time in Opsterland with great pleasure. I was able to accomplish a lot there, and I wasn’t quite done yet. But I couldn’t pass up the opportunity to work for my own municipality, once again in the wonderful role of municipal clerk. I wish the council, the Municipal Clerk’s Office, the executive board, the civil service, and all residents all the best."
The municipality of Opsterland thanks Meijer for her dedication and commitment over the past few years and wishes her the best of luck in her new position.
Laura Meijer will leave the Opsterland municipality on September 30.
