You start your day at the entrance to City Hall. As visitors arrive, you greet them warmly and help them find their way. At the same time, you keep a close eye on what’s happening around you. If a conversation unexpectedly gets heated, you effortlessly switch from host to professional, maintaining your composure and de-escalating the situation. That’s where your strength lies.
What will you do?
In this role, you’ll combine security duties with reception work, with an emphasis on providing a warm and welcoming service, while always being ready to step in when needed. You will address visitors professionally, register them carefully, and ensure they are directed to the correct department. You Health also Health issuing municipal documents, such as driver’s licenses, passports, andMaps, and will handle these accurately in accordance with applicable procedures. At the same time, you remain constantly alert to what is happening inside and around the building. You identify unusual situations, quickly assess risks, and take action when safety or order requires it. As soon as tensions rise or a situation threatens to escalate, you take charge and use your experience as a security guard to restore calm and control. Where necessary, you intervene in high-risk conversations to ensure the safety of colleagues and visitors.
In addition, you are involved in surveillance and security in a broader sense. You provide support during incidents and emergencies, assist with evacuations, and work closely with colleagues, such as the intervention team. You actively contribute to improving security measures and help develop procedures and security systems.
You’ll also be on hand at events held in and around City Hall to ensure everything runs safely and smoothly.
