Zivver

The municipality often exchanges information with residents, businesses and cooperation partners. Often this information is confidential and sensitive. To prevent this information from falling into the hands of individuals who wish to misuse it, it is therefore very important that sensitive information is transmitted securely.

What is Zivver?

Zivver ensures that sensitive information is additionally secured. As a result, the message is sent securely and only the recipient can read the content of the message. 

How do you open a message sent via Zivver?

Have you received an e-mail from municipality Opsterland via Zivver? Then open this message by clicking on the link with the text 'Open message'. You will then be automatically redirected to the secure environment of Zivver. Here you must enter an access code or SMS code (see below). 

Open message with a text code

You have received a message that is protected by an SMS code. The person sending you the message wants to be sure that only you can read it. Click "Open message" and then "Send SMS. Then enter the code you receive on your phone. Now you can read the message.

Open message with an access code

You have received a secure message. Whoever sent you the message wants to be sure that only you can read the message. Therefore, the sender has communicated an access code to you by mail, phone or in person. Click on "Open message" and enter this access code. Now you can read the message. Did you not receive an access code? If so, please contact the sender.

Open message with a verification email

You have received a secure message secured by a verification email. Click 'Open message' and then 'Send email'. You will now receive a new email, click 'Click to access' to open the message. Now you can read the message.

Would you like to respond to an e-mail message sent through Zivver?

You will read the message sent through Zivver on a secure web page. If you want to respond to the message, you can do so on this page. Click on the "Reply" button. You can then type your response directly in the response field. Optionally, you can also add an attachment using the paperclip button. You send the response by clicking the send button. When the recipient responds, you will receive another notification email.
