Request for confidentiality of personal data
The Basic Registration of PersonsBRP) contains the personal data of all residents of the municipality. The municipality is obliged to use this data. Your data remains confidential to certain other organizations when you submit a personal data confidentiality request.

You can request confidentiality only for:
- your own personal data
- the personal data of your children up to 16 years of age
Starting at age 16, young people must apply for confidentiality themselves.

Do you not want the municipality to pass on your data from the Basic Registration of PersonsBRP) to certain organizations? Then fill in the form 'Request secrecy of personal data' (at the top of this page under the heading 'Directly arrange').
A personal data confidentiality request ensures that the municipality may not disclose your personal data to:
- the Interdenominational Membership Administration Foundation (SILA);
- Organizations that provide health care to patients in an institution;
- organizations performing judicial work without your consent or notification.
- organizations to which the municipality would like to give personal data based on a municipal ordinance. For example, a sports club or a charity.
