Results of the 2026 Municipal Elections
Here are the results of the municipal council election in Opsterland. Votes in our municipality were counted centrally. This means that an initial count was conducted at the polling station on Wednesday evening. At that time, we only counted how many votes each party received. On Thursday, all votes for the candidates were counted during the meeting of the municipal election board (GSB). Afterward, the results for the entire municipality were calculated.
The final results, including the distribution of seats, will be announced by the Central Election Commission on Thursday, March 26, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. If you notice an error in the results from a polling station or in the results for the entire municipality, please report it to the central election committee by 10:00 a.m. on March 24, 2026, via verkiezingen@opsterland.nl. This will allow the error to be investigated.
