The former elementary school De Twaspan in Wijnjewoude merged several years ago and moved to the adjacent building De Sinnewizer. Together with Plaatselijk Belang, it was agreed to further develop the former school grounds for housing.

There is a great need for new housing in Wijnjewoude. The demolition of the school and the construction of eight new semi-detached houses will meet this need. The municipality owned the site. In the spring of 2024, the planning procedure was completed to change the zoning of the area for new construction.

Planning

  • Q3 2025: Site preparation for construction
  • Q4 2025: Sale of the lots
