Terwispel Kolderveen phase 2

In the Terwispel - Residential Extension Kolderveen zoning plan adopted May 7, 2024, the plan area has a residential zoning with the possibility of building 26 homes here.
Stichting Moai Wenplak Terwispel (SMWT) is developing the Kolderveen phase 2 area. The college approved the Memorandum of Principles as prepared by SMWT on January 18, 2022. In the Regional Housing Deal Southeast Fryslân, the Kolderveen phase 2 plan area is included as a key project. The land is owned by the Municipality of Opsterland. It has been agreed with SMWT that the municipality will prepare the site for construction and housing. SMWT will buy all the plots from the municipality and will sell or develop the plots itself, with priority being given to its own residents. These agreements are laid down in a letter of intent signed on September 22, 2023.
Housing:
Envisioned is a building program of 26 housing units. It concerns:
- 6 detached houses (zero-cost housing, purchase above € 405,000 v.o.n.)
- 4 semi-detached houses for sale (under €405,000 v.o.n.)
- 10 row houses (for sale, under €250,000 n.d.)
- 6 social housing units (nultredenwoningen) with 'living room house'
Planning:
- Q3 2025: plan area ready for construction and construction of 10 social housing units started
