Terrace permit
If you have a business and would like to have a patio located on or adjacent to the public road in doing so, you may do so if you meet the Requirements below.
Requirements
Requirements include:
- the patio should not be disfiguring to the streetscape;
- the patio must not create a hazard or nuisance to the surrounding area;
- the patio must not endanger traffic safety;
- sufficient space must be left for pedestrians, handicapped and baby carriages.
If you do not meet these Requirements , you must apply for an exemption and it will be considered whether you can still operate a terrace. For establishments that require a liquor and catering license (DHW license), the terrace must also be listed in the DHW license.

Your application describes the following:
- the place;
- The dates the terrace is open (terrace season);
- desired patio opening hours;
- a situation sketch.
In addition, you can show the following:
- a hospitality license;
- an identity document.
