Getting married: for some, it's a reason to throw a party with all the bells and whistles you can imagine; for others, it's an occasion that should be kept small and informal. Whatever you want, as wedding officials, we try to make every wedding ceremony an unforgettable gathering. Where there is laughter, a tear is shed, and the moment is remembered forever.
Since Valentine's Day 2006, I have been a wedding official for the municipality of Opsterland. Over the years, I have had the privilege of officiating many unique weddings. It is not only the wedding ceremony itself that I enjoy, but also the conversations leading up to the wedding. It often happens that the answers to my questions surprise even the bride and groom and lead to hilarious statements. Being able to record these moments is always a joy for me.
Due to my work as a Prevention and Informal Care Consultant for the municipality of Opsterland, I unfortunately do not always have time to officiate weddings. Because I prefer to say yes rather than no, I am only available as a reserve civil registrar (for when the civil registrar of your choice is unavailable) and for couples who really want me to marry them. If you would like me to officiate, please indicate this in the comments field when submitting your digital application.
Whoever you choose, and whether you want to get married for the first, third, or fifth time, each of us is 100% committed to making your wedding day an unforgettable moment.
Yes!
