You apply for a passport in person at the municipality. To do so, go (by appointment) to the Public Center in the town hall. Children must also come to the town hall to apply for a passport. Up to the age of 18 they need permission to apply. You can read more about this below. After 5 working days you can collect your passport. A passport for adults is valid for 10 years. Young people under the age of 18 receive a passport that is valid for 5 years.

Make an appointment

Is your passport due to expire soon? Then don't wait until you really need the new passport, but make an appointment now. Because of the passport peak, it is extra busy. The waiting times for an appointment keep increasing, especially towards the school vacations.
