Wage subsidy
If you, as an employer, want to employ someone with a work limitation, you or the employee can apply to the municipality of Opsterland for a wage subsidy or on-the-job support.
Wage subsidy
A wage subsidy can be requested from the municipality for the employee with a work limitation, who lives in the municipality of Opsterland and who cannot earn the minimum wage independently. This employee must then be registered in the target group register of the UWV. Before the wage subsidy is given, an employment expert or / and wage value expert must determine the wage value. On the basis of the wage value, the wage cost subsidy is calculated. The wage cost subsidy received by the employer is no more than 70% of the legal minimum wage. If, as an employer, you hire an employee with a labor disability, you may be eligible for a no-risk policy. This policy reimburses the wage costs in case of illness of the employee. In addition, as an employer, you also do not have to pay the costs of the WGA risk.

Job coach and other facilities
Most employees with employment disabilities benefit from on-the-job support. The employee or employer can apply for personal support from the municipality under Requirements . For example, a job coach can support the employee in the workplace (with a contract of at least 6 months and at least 12 working hours per week). In addition, under specific Requirements , an employee or employer can also apply for employee benefits, such as, for example, a workplace modification or a portable facility.
