Insulation Action Opsterland

Many people worry about their energy bills. The municipality understands that this makes you feel insecure and would like to help. By improving the insulation in your home, you reduce your energy costs. Good insulation keeps heat in and cold out. So you need to heat less. And you pay less energy costs.

Municipality of Opsterland now has an insulation promotion. We offer you € 2,177 to spend on insulation in your home.

You can participate in this action when your house is not yet properly insulated and the WOZ value of your house is lower than € 429,300(reference date 01-01-2022).

A well-insulated house is always nice and warm and saves you hundreds of euros a year! Don't wait too long and apply for the money. You will benefit immediately!

What does the action entail?

You can apply for money to insulate (or have insulated) your cavity wall, roof, floor, floor and/or windows. Note: This insulation action does not apply to measures that have already been taken. Therefore, start your application before having the measures carried out. You can choose from:

1. Have insulation installed by a company and municipality pays the bill

An employee from an insulation company will come to your home and see what insulation is possible. You will receive an overview of the costs. After you agree to the overview, the company comes to install the insulation. The municipality pays the bill up to € 2,177. If the costs are higher, you pay the difference yourself.

2. Arranging your own company and paying yourself first

You choose a company to insulate your home. You first pay the bill yourself and then hand in the bill. You will receive the amount you paid back from us up to € 2,177. You will receive the money back no later than six weeks after the application.

3. Insulate your home yourself

You apply for a voucher. With this you buy insulation material yourself at a participating hardware store. You apply the material yourself. The material you use to do this must meet Requirements . All Requirements can be found on the website of the Energy Counter. Note: The vouchers will probably not be available to apply for until early 2025. More information on this will follow.
