Ingrid Weening - Meestringa
The most beautiful day in your life...for many people that is the day they get married. And how beautiful it is to be able to contribute to that! I find it very special when people openly choose for each other, regardless of their background or sexual orientation. And it feels like a great privilege for me to give your day an extra sparkle with a personal speech.
My name is Ingrid Weening-Meestringa. I have been married for over 20 years and live with my husband and 3 children in Drachten. I was born and raised in the municipality of Opsterland and have lived in Ureterp, Beetsterzwaag and Wijnjewoude. All three of our children were born in Beetsterzwaag. In my spare time I like to walk through our beautiful woods. I also enjoy reading an exciting book outside in the sun, weather permitting.
In addition to my work as a wedding officiant, I own a consulting firm that focuses on older workers and organizations where many people have worked for a very long time. I provide advice and training on how to keep work as enjoyable as possible for yourself and as an organization for as long as possible. In doing so, I enjoy the great conversations I have with people and the opportunity to get companies thinking and focusing more on the positive in work and life. I always look with people at what they are good at and what makes their heart beat faster. I like to mean something to others and make people happy.
And that's what I want to give to you as a wedding officiant: try to enjoy the beautiful things in life as much as possible. I want you to have a good time together. To get a good picture of what you find important in life, I first come to your home and we discuss all those things. Then I work this into a speech that suits you. This can be in Frysk, Dutch, English or Deutsch, whatever you prefer. I adapt myself completely to your wishes. Together we will make it an unforgettable ceremony!
