Are you a scholar or student? And are you unable to earn additional income due to a disability or chronic illness? Then you may be able to get a study allowance.

You may qualify for the study grant if you meet the Requirements below:
- You have a disability or chronic illness that prevents you from earning additional income.
- You receive study financing or on a pupil allowance from DUO.
- You are not entitled to Wajong benefits
Level of study allowance
As of Jan. 1, 2024, the amount of the study allowance is per month:

| 20-year | €282,23 |
| 19-year-olds | €211,67 |
| 18-year-olds | €176,40 |
| 17-year-olds | €139,35 |
| 16-year-olds | €121,71 |
| 15-year-olds | €105,84 |
