Delegate Folkerts has southeast Friesland in her portfolio and in that context visits the municipalities in this region. For the municipality a good opportunity to update the province on themes that are important to residents in our municipality.

For the municipality of Opsterland, these include participation, cooperation with our villages and (Frisian) language education. In addition to being a dairy farm, 'De Sweachster' is also a family home. The college of Opsterland wanted to bring this combination to the attention of the deputy.

The visit was a great opportunity for the mayor, aldermen and deputy to get to know each other better and find each other on substantive topics.
