The Council on TV

Soon, it will be even easier to watch the council meetings live. Starting May 19, the Opsterland Municipal Council meetings will be broadcast live on television. They will air on the channel of FRYN, the regional broadcaster for Opsterland, Smallingerland, and Heerenveen. You can watch on channel 45 (Ziggo) or channel 1452 (KPN). 

The livestream can also be viewed at fryn.nl, , or on our own website. Of course, you are also welcome to attend the council meetings in person. You can find all information about the city council at: www.opsterland.nl/gemeenteraad
