Collective insulation action for Frisian homeowners
The municipality of Opsterland has launched an insulation action in cooperation with other Frisian municipalities. This action is especially for owners of a poorly insulated house with a WOZ value below the municipal average of € 325,000 (reference year 2022). The subsidy is available through the municipality's energy desk.
Offer municipality of Opsterland
This action is part of a national grant under the National Insulation Program. The Frisian municipalities have jointly made an amount of €16.7 million available. As a result, residents of the municipality of Opsterland can qualify for a subsidy of up to €2,177 for insulating their homes.
Provincial supplement for low-income households
The province is offering an additional subsidy for low-income households. A sum of 4.5 million has been made available for this purpose. Residents with an income up to 150% of the legal social minimum can claim up to an additional €2,500 on top of the municipal subsidy.
Applying through the Energy Desk
Duurzaam Bouwloket, the energy counter of the Frisian municipalities, carries out this action in cooperation with local insulation companies. Both municipal and provincial subsidies can easily be applied for at once. The action can be applied for until August 31, 2026, but may end earlier if the subsidy budget runs out. Energy explorers are active in the municipality of Opsterland. These are employees of the municipality who help residents from start to finish in making their homes more sustainable.
