Bakkeveen Aylvalân

In the Bakkeveen Kom zoning plan adopted on June 2, 2014, the Aylvalân plan area is zoned "Recreation - Special Recreation" with an amendment authority to change it to a residential zoning. The land is owned by the Municipality of Opsterland.
Currently, no construction can take place at this location due to nitrogen regulations. The draft zoning plan is currently being prepared. As soon as all preparatory research and documents are ready, the zoning plan will be submitted to the B&W Executive Board for approval and made available for public inspection.
Housing:
There have been a number of consultations with the village to come up with further details. Envisioned is a building program of 38 homes.
