The municipality of Opsterland no longer distributes a paper waste calendar. You can view the waste calendar digitally on Omrin's website. Or you can use the Afvalapp. In addition to the waste calendar, the Afvalapp contains many other handy features. So you have all your waste matters at a glance in one app.

Go to www.omrin.nl to view the trash calendar. Enter your zip code and house number. All collection dates for your address will appear in a table. You can download or print this table. Not savvy on the Internet yourself? There is probably a family member or neighbor willing to help you.
Waste app for smartphone or tablet
You can download the free Omrin Afvalapp and use it as your digital waste calendar. The Afvalapp notifies you when the container needs to be taken to the road. Do the collection days change, for example during holidays? Then you will automatically receive a pop-up message. You can also use the Waste app to report bulky waste, pruning waste or Household Hazardous Waste (KCA). You can also see in the app where in the municipality waste collection points are located.
