A7 - Closure of ramp 27 (Tijnje) and the on- and off-ramps at the De Vonken rest area

This is an old post.

On Thursday, June 11, and Friday, June 12, ramp 27 (Tijnje) and the on- and off-ramps at the De Vonken rest area will be temporarily closed due to emergency repairs to damaged pavement.

On behalf of Rijkswaterstaat, Gebr. van der Lee is carrying out emergency repairs to asphalt damage on the national highway network in the northern Netherlands. As a result, the following road closure is in effect on the A7:

  • From 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 11, to 6:00 a.m. on Friday, June 12, ramp 27 (Tijnje) and the on- and off-ramps at the De Vonken rest area will be closed.
  • Through traffic on the A7 will not be affected by the construction work. Vehicles heading toward the closed exit will be diverted via the next exit and entrance ramp, as indicated by road signs.
  • Emergency and first-response vehicles with PRIO 1 clearance may pass through the closed exit, provided they drive at a snail's pace in the vicinity of our work site.
  • Bus routes cannot use the closed on- and off-ramps.
  • The De Vonken service area is not accessible to traffic. Gas station employees may drive past the construction zone to and from the gas station, provided they maintain an appropriate speed.
