The Area Team of the municipality of Opsterland is there for advice and support in aging, independent living, informal care, parenting, day care, (grief) processing, family and relationship problems, financial housekeeping and information about work and income.

You can walk in without an appointment at the Area Team counters in Beetsterzwaag, Gorredijk and Ureterp.

- Monday through Friday 9 a.m.-12:30 p.m.
- Outside telephone business hours, you will be transferred to the emergency line

Village Support Centers
Almost all villages in the municipality have a village support center. You can go to the village support center for information and advice and if you need a helping hand (temporarily).
Area team counters
You can visit a counter of the Area Team in three villages in the municipality. There are counters in Beetsterzwaag, Gorredijk and Ureterp.
Holidays
Please note that we are closed on Christmas Day and Boxing Day, New Year's Day, Good Friday, Easter Monday, King's Day, Liberation Day, Ascension Day, the day after Ascension Day and Whit Monday.
