Building a roadway
Do you want to make an entrance or exit to the public road at your home or business, or do you want to change an existing entrance or exit? Then you must report this to the municipality. Report this in advance to the municipality or check first whether you need an environmental permit for this.
Directly arrange

If an exit leads onto the provincial road, you must apply for an environmental permit. You can do this through the Environment Desk, see Environment Desk.
If the exit does not open onto a provincial road, but onto a municipal road, it is sufficient to report this to the municipality.
The municipality may refuse the notification for the following reasons:
- no dangerous or inconvenient situations should arise for traffic;
- no public parking should be lost;
- it should not be at the expense of public green spaces in the municipality;
- it should not be at the expense of the external appearance of the surrounding area.
Please note, that the processing of the notification may take 6 weeks.
It is always possible to inquire first about whether it makes sense to file a report, also considering your location and situation.
Directly arrange
Report your plans to the municipality. Fill out the "Notification form for egress" form (at the top of this page under the heading "Directly arrange").
