Tijnje- Terwispel - Work on N392.

Along the county road (N392) there are many poplars. These trees are at the end of their lifespan and are beginning to lose large branches. To ensure the safety of road users along the provincial road, they need to be removed. After that, more trees will be replanted. From December this year, work will start along the provincial road the N392 between Tijnje and Terwispel. The work will be completed by mid-February 2026.

When and where?

The work is divided into removing the existing trees and replanting new trees. The removal will take place in December 2025 and January 2026. The work will be done in three phases to minimize any inconvenience. The replanting of new trees will take place in January and February 2026.

See below for the three phases of work. The road will be completely closed during each phase. Traffic will be subject to a detour. Outside of work hours, traffic will be able to pass. There will also be yellow signs on the road in time.
