New grant for repurposing historic farmhouses
A new grant for repurposed farms is available.
Owners of old farmhouses can apply for a grant from the Farmhouse Fund through September 1, 2025. This grant is for projects where a farm is given a new function. For example, a place for recreation, Health, culture or education. Restoration and preservation are also part of the scheme.
The Farms Fund helps preserve agricultural heritage. Both monumental farms and other historic farms are eligible. Owners can apply for a maximum of €250,000.
