Gorredijk - Road Closure Due to the Vrieswijck Expansion Plan
To prevent construction traffic from entering the completed section of the Vrieswijck expansion plan, barriers have been placed on the roadway. Construction traffic can access the neighborhood under construction via Nijewei. The residential areas on De Wurkpleats and it Ramtwurk can be accessed from Jodocus Heeringastrjitte.
Plegt-Vos Construction is currently working on the Vrieswijck expansion project in Gorredijk. The first phase has already been completed and is now occupied. The remaining area has been prepared for construction, and housing construction has already begun.
To keep construction vehicles off the completed section, barriers have been placed on the roadway.
Construction vehicles can access the neighborhood under construction via Nijewei. The residential areas along De Wurkpleats and it Ramtwurk can be reached from Jodocus Heeringastrjitte.

The closure will be in effect from May 7, 2026, through December 31, 2026.
