Facilities Assistant
MBO-4 I Scale 6 I one-year contract with the prospect of permanent employment I 25 hours
The day starts quietly when you walk into the town hall. During your rounds of the work and meeting rooms, a colleague joins you for a quick coffee break, which is a nice start to the day. What will you do?
As a Facilities Employee Health and your colleagues ensure that our town hall is welcoming, tidy, and well-organized every day. You are visibly present in the building and help colleagues, visitors, suppliers, and guests with everything they need. You arrange catering, prepare meeting rooms, and ensure that meetings, from work meetings to weddings and council meetings, run smoothly and professionally. This also includes operating audiovisual equipment, resolving minor technical malfunctions, and managing equipment, supplies, goods, and kitchen facilities.
You will work closely with colleagues from different teams, support cleaning staff when necessary, and keep the building safe and tidy. You will process invoices, manage the mailbox, and keep track of the schedule. Health also Health for collecting, sorting, and sending mail and packages, and you will be available as a first responder when necessary.
You work according to a basic schedule of 22 hours per week, with 3 flexible hours that you can use when extra support is needed, for example in the evenings or during large gatherings.
In this role, you are the linchpin of the building: you see what needs to be done, take care of it, and ensure that everyone can work comfortably.
