Additional tax and levy arrangements for entrepreneurs
The municipalities of Opsterland, Weststellingwerf, and Ooststellingwerf (OWO) are taking additional measures to help entrepreneurs affected by the coronavirus crisis. These measures concern municipal taxes and levies and are in addition to those taken by the government.

Advertising tax and (water) tourist taxes
The advertising tax and (water) tourist tax assessments will be postponed until August 1, 2020. As usual, payment arrangements are also possible for other tax assessments. The suspension of the assessment does not apply to self-employed persons. These are natural persons and are therefore not known to us as entrepreneurs. A self-employed person receiving BBZ benefits
A self-employed person receiving BBZ benefits may be eligible for remission. Would you like to be considered for this as a self-employed person? Please contact us by email atinvorderingen@OWO-gemeenten.nl and ask about the possibilities.
In addition to the above measures, it has been agreed with the bailiff's office that no outstanding debts will be collected from businesses for the time being.
