Proof of being alive
Some pension funds or other benefit agencies ask for proof of being alive. Do you need this? Request an extract from the Basic Registration of Personal DataBRP) from the municipality. This will prove that you are alive. Please indicate why you need the extract.

You can request the extract online. You can also stop by the Public Center. Please bring valid identification with you.
Requirements
- You can request proof of living only from the municipality where you are registered.
- You can apply for the certificate for yourself or an immediate family member (child, parent, spouse).
