Policy Advisor Youth Curative
HBO | Scale 10 | fixed term | 28 - 32 hours
You start the day with a fresh cup of coffee as the soft morning light comes in and you briefly check the news. Then, feeling relaxed, you dive into the figures: how are the young people who need specialized youth assistance really doing? You see where things are going well and where they sometimes falter. On that basis, you work on policy to make the help faster and more appropriate. During team meetings there is room for a joke and a chat over the weekend, so the atmosphere is always pleasant. Then you discuss with care providers how together you can make help faster and better. In between appointments you walk outside for some fresh air, which helps to clear your head. After lunch you consult with colleagues from education and safety: together you look for smart ways to connect youth aid with other forms of aid. In the regional meetings you enthusiastically represent Opsterland and exchange ideas with other municipalities.
At the end of the day you put everything in order, while looking forward to a relaxing evening. In this way, you enjoy working every day to ensure a better future for young people!
