On Thursday, May 7, Van Harinxmaweg between Beetsterzwaag and Olterterp will be closed due to paving work. From Monday, June 22, through Friday, July 3, the intersection of Van Harinxmaweg and Poostweg in Beetsterzwaag will be closed due to intersection improvements.
Closure of Van Harinxmaweg in Beetsterzwaag-Olterterp
On Thursday, May 7, Van Harinxmaweg between Beetsterzwaag and Olterterp will be closed due to paving work.
- On Thursday, May 7, between 9:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m., Van Harinxmaweg will be closed to through traffic between It Merkelân and Hotel-restaurant ’t Wittehuis.
- Motorized traffic is being diverted via the A7.
- Deployment of traffic controllers.
- Bike paths will remain accessible.
Redesign of the Van Harinxmaweg–Poostweg Intersection in Beetsterzwaag
From Monday, June 22, through Friday, July 3, the Van Harinxmaweg–Poostweg intersection in Beetsterzwaag will be closed due to intersection improvements. During this period, a wearing course will also be applied to the road surface between ’t Merkelan and the Poostweg intersection. This consists of a thin layer of crushed stone (gravel) in two colors.
- Motorized traffic is being diverted via the A7.
- Bike paths will remain accessible.
Paving work is weather-dependent. As a result, the schedule is subject to change. During road closures, traffic will be rerouted via a detour.
