For our Concern Affairs team, we are looking for an accurate and quality-oriented
Advisor Planning & Control (32-36 hours per week)
What will you do?
Together with the team, you will ensure that our municipality is and remains financially healthy. You give solicited and unsolicited (integral) advice to the board, managers and policy staff in the field of finance. You act as their sparring partner on financial issues within our organization at strategic, tactical and operational levels.
You will review college proposals and budget amendments for guidelines and location of the included calculations. Together with your colleagues you are responsible for the budget, spring note and financial statements and you will be actively involved in the audit.

Where will you be working?
You will be working at our town hall in beautiful Beetsterzwaag. Beetsterzwaag is known for its many historic buildings, among other things, and because of its location (between Drachten and Heerenveen) it is easily accessible via the A7. Approximately 250 employees work at our town hall.
The Concern Affairs team consists of knowledgeable and enthusiastic colleagues. You will find yourself in a "warm nest"; the colleagues not only have a lot of substantive knowledge, but also the necessary dose of humor.
What do we ask of you?
- Do you have a completed college degree in Business Economics or similar;
- Experience with P&C processes within the municipality;
- Experience working in an administrative political environment.
What do we have to offer you?
- You will be placed in scale 10 (max. €4671) or scale 11 (max. €5372) of the collective labor agreement for municipalities. Both amounts are gross per month for a 36-hour workweek. The scale depends on your work experience.
- An Individual Choice Budget (IKB) of 17.05% of your gross salary. You choose what you do with this budget. This budget includes, for example, vacation pay and the end-of-year bonus. You can also buy extra leave and participate in the ABP pension plan;
- The opportunity to work partly from home and partly in the office. You will receive a net home office allowance of €2 per day in 2022;
- We also have flexible working hours! In consultation with your colleagues, you can combine private life and work well;
- Plenty of room for personal development and attending various courses and trainings. Learning from and with each other is our priority: together we go for the best result;
- A temporary employment contract for the duration of 1 year. If we are a match, we will convert this to indefinite.
