What will you do?

Together with the team, you will ensure that our municipality is and remains financially healthy. You will provide solicited and unsolicited (integrated) advice to the board, managers, and policy officers in the field of finance. You have an organization-wide perspective, see connections, and are open to the expertise and interests of others.

Where will you be working?

You will be working at our town hall in beautiful Beetsterzwaag. Beetsterzwaag is known for its many historic buildings and is easily accessible via the A7 motorway due to its location (between Drachten and Heerenveen). Approximately 250 employees work at our town hall.

The Corporate Affairs team consists of expert and enthusiastic colleagues. You will be joining a welcoming environment; your colleagues not only have a wealth of knowledge, but also a good sense of humor.

What do we ask of you?

  • Experience with P&C processes within the municipality;
  • Experience working in an administrative political environment.

What do we have to offer you?

  • You will be placed in scale 10 (max. €4671) or scale 11 (max. €5372) of the municipal collective labor agreement. Both amounts are gross per month based on a 36-hour working week. The scale depends on your work experience.
  • An Individual Choice Budget (IKB) of 17.05% of your gross salary. You decide how to use this budget. This budget includes, for example, vacation pay and the year-end bonus. You can also purchase extra leave and participate in the ABP pension plan.
  • The option to work partly from home and partly at the office. In 2022, you will receive a net work-from-home allowance of €2 per day.
  • We also offer flexible working hours! In consultation with your colleagues, you can easily combine your private life and work.
  • Plenty of room for personal development and taking various courses and training programs. Learning from and with each other is our priority: together we strive for the best results.
