Malfunction Compagnonsbrege Gorredijk

The Compagnons Bridge in Gorredijk is experiencing a malfunction and cannot be operated at this time. We are working hard today to solve the problem. Unfortunately, no passage is possible for shipping traffic on the Turfroute until further notice.

Every effort is being made to fix the outage as soon as possible.

We apologize for the inconvenience.

The event will focus on the victims and the impact of this period, with testimonies from people who survived the Japanese camps. The initiative comes from former mayor Joost van Bodegom, who himself stayed in a Japanese camp as a child. Reconciliation and remembrance are central.
