Retrospective network meeting OWO energy coaches
On Wednesday evening, June 26, volunteer energy coaches from Ooststellingwerf, Weststellingwerf and Opsterland (OWO) gathered for an inspiring networking meeting in Oosterwolde. The evening focused on meeting, sharing knowledge and cooperation.
There was enthusiastic brainstorming about ways to further raise awareness of the Local Approach to Insulation (LAI) in the villages. This generated many creative ideas!
A total of more than 50 energy coaches are now active in the three OWO municipalities. These volunteers enthusiastically dedicate themselves to helping residents save energy. They give practical tips, think about energy measures and can even perform a heat scan of the home to make heat leaks visible.
Every three months, the OWO municipalities organize a networking meeting for the energy coaches. The next meeting is scheduled for Sept. 25, 2025, and will focus on home battery and grid congestion.

Junior Energy Coach
