Province of Fryslân adopts new grant scheme
The Province of Fryslân has a new regulation for preventing wolf damage. Here are the main changes:
- Expansion of subsidy area: Animal farmers in the municipalities of Heerenveen, Ooststellingwerf, Opsterland, Smallingerland and Weststellingwerf can now apply for subsidies.
- Widening subsidy scheme: Animal keepers of all ungulates (except fallow deer) can now apply for subsidies.
- Increase in grant amount: The maximum grant amount has been increased from 20,000 euros to 30,000 euros.
- Reduced administrative burden: Fewer supporting documents need to be submitted with applications.
