Tackling undermining
Drug possession, trafficking or production is often accompanied by nuisance and crime. Criminal organizations make huge profits from drug trafficking. Often illegally obtained money is invested in legal industries, such as real estate and hospitality. This mixing of the upper and underworld, also known as undermining, is very worrisome. Government partners such as the police, the Public Prosecutor's Office, municipalities and the Tax Administration work together in tackling suspicious cases and individuals. The goal is to tackle wrongdoing and stop organized and undermining crime.
